Kichstart shaft made in Italy. interchangeable with the original Piaggio OEM 148570. This product it is included in our large range of NIP (Newtech Italian Production) related to higher standard quality manufactured by our Italian workshops, specialized in the production of Vintage Vespa spare parts and accessories.
In order to replace the starter sector from your vehicle you have to remove before the starter lever wich is to the right side of the engine, but it is fixed to the left, loosen the nut. Inside the engine you can see the kichstart, operated by the lever, and the pinion. In the natural position the pinion sector can not be extracted from its pivot. You have to rotate the hand- toothed sector by a small angle to do that. Under the pinion must also be removed the spring and a shaped washer. Once removed these components you can remove the kichstart, which is integral to the lever pivot starter.Once unhooked the spring you can remove the starter sector with all its pin and introduce our NIP105 model.
